CONSOLATION ROUND

FORMAT: THIS IS A 2-PLAYER-PER-TEAM EVENT – BEST OF 3 MATCH PLAY

l Each team will consist of 2 players – (FEMALE/MALE)

l After the draw is set, the 2 teams opposite each other will play the best of 3 matches to move in the draw

Each match is worth 1 point, with 2 points needed to move up in the draw

l The first 2 matches between the teams will be SINGLES (Female vs. Female; Male vs. Male)

l If the first 2 matches are won between the female/male teammates, the losers are eliminated – the winners move on

l If team “A” FEMALE wins and team “A” MALE loses, or vise-verses, then a mixed doubles match will be played to determine which team will move on

l Each match between the 2 teams will play an 8-GAME PRO-SET –NO AD SCORING: 12 PT. TIEBREAKER AT 7 ALL

l The final match between the surviving teams will be BEST OF 3-TIEBREAK SETS – REGULAR SCORING
